It's nicely organized and provides just enough information to help me make the right choices for my meal plans. While it isn't a comprehensive listing of all the foods available, it does cover most of the food items one usually encounters on a regular basis. You won't find exotic ingredients, for example, but you will find most of what you need. I'd recommend this book for anyone serious about meal planning, whether diabetic or not.
